hilaga hanggang timog (from north to south in tagalog) is a documentary film telling stories of climate disaster & resilience, in rural communities from north carolina to the philippines.

free zhi kai (2025) documentary


A short documentary that tells the story of Zhi Kai Vanderford, an Asian, transgender elder, activist, writer, & artist who has been incarcerated for 37 years for murder, told through his own art, words, and supporters organizing for his release.

"celestial" exhibit walkthrough


This video was created for my job as videographer/photographer for the turchin center of the visual arts. i documented the process of artist dare coulter creating & installing her exhibit "celestial" in turchin's main gallery, with the help of her student assistants, as well as the opening of the exhibit.

"hayley & mickey" video portrait


This was my final project for my Video Production for Photographers class. I created the video to document the friendship of my two friends Hayley & Mickey. I interviewed both of them individually and also shot B-roll of them interacting & of the home they shared together.

"you will find me" short film


This was a short film I submitted for a video project in my Intro to Sight & Sound class that I took in the Spring of 2020. We were required to use certain video techniques & editing effects such as jump-cuts, black & white to color, and slow motion using Adobe Premiere. I intended for my video to be a mysterious story that leaves viewers with unanswered questions.
