This was a short film I submitted for a video project in my Intro to Sight & Sound class that I took in the Spring of 2020. We were required to use certain video techniques & editing effects using Adobe Premiere. I intended for my video to be a mysterious story that leaves viewers with unanswered questions.

"nature dance" stop motion
This was for another Intro to Sight & Sound project where we had to utilize some kind of animation in our video. I chose to create a short stop motion animation video. I just wanted to make a fun video bringing elements of nature to life. I shot stills and recorded some original sound effects, then put it all together into a video using Premiere.

aka "the mystery of the pants pocket"
This was for an assignment in my Video Production in Story class that I took in the Spring of 2021 (online because of COVID). We had to create an example of the "cut-to-reaction" technique. I chose to make a short, silly video using this technique, as well as practicing post-production editing by adding music and visual effects with Premiere.

"word on the street" interview
This was an assignment for my Video Production for Photographers class which I took in the Spring of 2021 (online because of COVID). The assignment was to make a short video interviewing three people about a certain topic. This was my first interview video project, so it was a learning experience trying to record interview audio and edit it along with my footage. I was unable to check out equipment because of the pandemic, so I used my iPhone to record audio instead of a audio recorder + microphone.

"hayley & mickey" video portrait
This was my final project for my Video Production for Photographers class. I created the video to document the friendship of my two friends Hayley & Mickey. I interviewed both of them individually and also shot B-roll of them interacting & of the home they shared together. I recorded the audio for the interviews with a zoom mic/recorder. I created a video treatment (linked here) before shooting any footage to plan what I wanted to do for the video.

This video was created for my job as videographer/photographer for the turchin center of the visual arts. i documented the 19th appalachian mountain photography competition exhibit.

martini stop-motion
This was an for an in-class shoot in my product class. me & my classmates came up with the idea & executed it together as a group. we wanted to make a "james bond-esque" video of someone drinking a poisoned martini and dying.
